Loved the premise but was honestly difficult to follow along. Season 2 also seemed unnecessary and added nothing new or exciting.
This was the very podcast I ever listened to. Now I measure every show to this! I’m always trying to find a similar podcast. I’ve found a few others that were great but now I’m on the hunt for another good one! If anyone can recommend another podcast similar to Limetown please share!
S1 was amazing. Really sucked me in. Went to bed early just to lay down and listen.S2 was good but not amazing.
This was one of the very first audio dramas I ever listened to, when I stumbled across it I had no clue that it was just story and I was shocked that no one else in the world seemed to care about the missing people of Limetown. Thankfully the internet is a thing and Google was able to tell me how silly I was being before I brought it up to anyone in conversation. This story is great, and I was really happy for everyone involved when I saw they were making a Facebook show out of it. I hope it brought many more people to this wonderful podcast.
It's a shame this ended.
Does it even need to be said? Limetown changed the game. Limetown was the inspiration for wave after wave of audiodramas to come. Limetown still holds up.
Voice acting is phenomenal. Story is well written, but tends to get cumbersome when it gets down to details. Pretty awesome overall.
I love this podcast! I was completely sucked in when it came out.
Started really strong, then fizzled out.
Season 2 was a little disappointing; the buildup was brilliant but the final episode just didn't stick the landing.
Amazing story that kept me binging the whole way through. I can't recommend this enough
Good story, the ending though. It wasn't a bad one.... but just sooo many other options. Did buy the book though! 😍
absolutely lived this! The storyline was so dynamic and kept me wanting more
I liked season 1 very much. The story behind the town itself, what it was used for, how the town ended, the stories of the people who lived there, all of it was a really nice (and a little sad) story. The people that were interviewed were believable and their stories were almost haunting. The season wrapped up nicely. Some questions were left unanswered but it lets you think about it and wonder, which I like.Season 2 was not really necessary. It brought in an unlikable protagonist, an equally unlikable antagonist and most of the people in this season weren't very nice. It was a bit of a chore to get through and the end was so weak that it made me wonder why I worked my way through it.I should have stopped at the end of season 1.
Very engaging. Fantasticaly produced. Great music and FX. Nice acting. Perfectly written. Loved it.
Fantastic first season but it went wayyyy off course for the second one. Worth the listen, but expect disappointment as you switch between seasons
Loved this one! The second season was a little disappointing compared to the first. However, the story is really compelling and really makes you want more.
One of the best ever created, if not the best! This was first experience with podcasts and I was blown away, very few have lived up to this experience.
This got me into podcasts and audiograms, it is incredible
Love the use of found audio to tell this engaging and suspenseful story!
